Nissan Rogue SV Trim Level Review
The 2019 Nissan Rogue is a compact crossover that comes in five different trim levels: Nissan Rogue S, Nissan Rogue SV, Nissan Rogue SV Hybrid, Nissan Rogue SL, and Nissan Rogue SL Hybrid. Of those, our team here at Courtesy Nissan is interested in the Nissan Rogue SV trim level since it’s an awesome option.
That’s why we’ve created this Nissan Rogue SV trim level review for the drivers around Richardson, Garland, Addison, Plano, and the surrounding Texas communities. Contact us today if you’d like to schedule your test drive!
Power and Performance
When you put your foot on the Rogue SV’s gas pedal, one of the first things that you’ll notice is just how powerful this compact crossover can be. Its 2.5L 4-cylinder engine is capable of kicking out up to 170 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and up to 175 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 RPM. Plus, it maintains EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 26 city/33 highway/39 combined MPG.1
There are also a bunch of other performance features that support these powerful and efficient capabilities, such as an Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) with a Sport Mode Shifter as well as Hill Start Assist and a Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) drivetrain. Then, when it’s time to stop, you can rely upon 4-Wheel Vented Disc Brakes, a 4-Wheel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), and even Brake Assist.
Moving onto its cabin, we have to say that the Nissan Rogue SV is extremely spacious, especially for a compact crossover. Here are the types of dimensions you’ll enjoy if you don’t opt for the SV’s moonroof:
- Front Row: 41.6 inches of headroom, 43 inches of legroom, and 54 inches of hip room
- Second Row: 38.5 inches of headroom, 37.9 inches of legroom, and 52.1 inches of hip room
All in all, that makes for a total interior passenger volume of 105.8 cubic feet (without the moonroof, that is). If you want to maintain that passenger volume, you’ll still have 39.3 cubic feet for cargo at your disposal. However, drop the rear seats down and you’re suddenly looking at 70 cubic feet of cargo space.
Safety and Tech
Perhaps most importantly, the 2019 Rogue SV comes with Nissan Intelligent Mobility™, a suite of driver-assistive features designed to keep you, your friends, and your family as safe as possible out there:
- Intelligent Cruise Control
- Intelligent Lane Intervention
- Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
- Rear Automatic Emergency Braking with Rear Sonar System
When it comes to tech, though, safety is just the beginning. For example, the Rogue SV is capable of supporting both Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, which allow you to access your compatible phone via your dashboard’s user interface. You know what that means? Music, maps, messages, and much more.
