The net power that you’ll get from the entire hybrid system adds up to 176 horsepower. In Front-Wheel Drive, the hybrid engine has an EPA-estimated 33 city/35 highway MPG*. Conversely, it gets an EPA-estimated 31 city/34 highway MPG* with All-Wheel Drive.

Performance Features

The 2019 Nissan Rouge provides you with an intuitive drive from start to finish. The standard Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) with Sport Mode Shifter and the available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive are two features in particular that make this possible. The Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) allows you to increase the power you’re getting from the engine when the drive calls for it, while the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive makes it possible to adapt to various road conditions in order to take on any challenge that comes your way.

Driving Tips for a More Efficient Fuel Economy

Here’s some quick advice to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your Nissan Rogue in terms of MPG:

  • 2019 Nissan RougeMake sure the cabin stays clean. When a vehicle’s interior starts carrying too much weight, it can cause the fuel economy to suffer. Be sure to clean out the car on a regular basis in order to keep this from happening.
  • Observe the speed limit. Driving too fast also reduces your fuel economy. Try staying below the speed limit, and avoid accelerating too quickly from a complete stop to see how much of a difference it makes.
  • Keep the engine air filter clean. It’s the engine air filter’s job to make sure the engine is able to perform at its best by keeping unwanted dirt and debris out of the way. If the filter is too dirty, the engine won’t be able to perform as well.
