Below is a quick rundown of some of your SUV’s major maintenance items and when they should be completed. Read through it to make sure your Nissan Rogue is getting the care it needs to be able to continue to perform at the same high level for years to come.

5,000 Miles

At the 5,000-mile mark, you can expect the oil and oil filter to be changed. In addition to that, the following aspects of your Rogue’s operation will need to be inspected:

  • Steering gear and linkage
  • Axle and suspension parts
  • Brake pads and rotors
  • Exhaust system
  • Propeller shaft and drive shaft boots

10,000 Miles

Maintenance

When your Nissan Rogue has traveled 10,000 miles, you’re going to want to take it in to get the oil, oil filter, and brake fluid changed. There will also be a few things that’ll need to be inspected at this time. These are as follows:

  • Brake lines and cables
  • Brakes pads and rotors
  • CVT fluid
  • Transfer fluid and differential gear oil
  • Propeller shaft and drive shaft boots

15,000 Miles

At 15,000 miles, you’ll be due for another oil change as well as an inspection of the steering gear and linkage, the exhaust system, the axle as well as the suspension parts, all brake pads and rotors, and the propeller shaft and drive shaft boots.

During this visit, you can also expect to have your in-cabin microfilter replaced to see to it that you and your passengers continue to enjoy breathing in clean air inside the cabin. Plus, your Nissan Intelligent Key® battery should be inspected at this time to ensure that it’s in proper working order.  

20,000 Miles

For 20,000 miles, you can expect your service appointment to be a busy one. Apart from the oil change, all of the 5,000-mile and 10,000-mile maintenance tasks will be performed. The EVAP vapor lines and fuel lines will also be inspected to ensure that they’re all intact.

25,000 Miles

Here, your Nissan Rogue will receive the usual 5,000-mile checks and procedures that include the oil change as well as an inspection of the brake pads and rotors, the steering gear and linkage, the axle and suspension, the propeller shaft and drive shaft boots, and the exhaust system.

30,000 Miles

Maintenance

When you get to 30,000 miles on the odometer, the air cleaner filter, the in-cabin microfilter, and the Nissan Intelligent Key® battery will all need to be replaced.

The brake system, which includes all brake lines, cables, pads, and rotors, should all be inspected at this time.
