Nissan Sentra Interior Dimensions
When you slide into the cabin of the 2018 Sentra, you’ll find quite the sizeable interior for a compact car. Drivers and front passengers get 42.5 inches of legroom, which is plenty to make room even the tallest of riders. In the rear, legroom measures 37.4 inches and will keep most adults comfortable during your next road trip.
The trunk is also impressive, with 15.1 cubic feet of cargo space. The 60/40 split-folding rear seats let you configure your people-to-cargo ratio in multiple ways and store longer items, such as an 8-foot ladder. With the rear seats folded, capacity stands at 74.1 cubic feet, letting you bring even more along for the ride.
Nissan Sentra Engine Specs
The base engine in the Nissan sedan is a 1.8L I-4, with 124 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque on tap. When equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), it’s the most fuel-efficient option for this small sedan, with an EPA-estimated 29 city and 37 highway MPG.1 Fuel numbers like that will have you spending less time at the pump.
If you want more acceleration, turn to the Turbo and NISMO trims, where you’ll find a turbocharged 1.6L I-4. It can produce up to 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque for quicker acceleration when you need to reach highway speeds or pass other vehicles on the road.
